The Lidless Eye

When Númenórean sailors return with a golden box of unspeakable geometry, Sauron sees a rival to his One Ring and seeks to dominate it. The box opens a portal for Pinhead and the Cenobites, who feast on the island’s downfall and strip Sauron of his fair guise—leaving his Eye forever lidless, a reminder of the ancient pact between darkness and suffering.
